Computer Lab Rules

Come into the lab quietly and take your seat quickly. We don’t have a lot of time, so we need to get started!

Keep your hands off the mouse and keyboard until you’ve been told what to do.

Keep all food, drinks, and personal items away from the computer work area. -
Never work with dirty hands, and keep your keyboard and mouse germ-free. Wash your hands or use the hand sanitizer whenever you need to. -
No emailing or checking your email on a school computer.

Do not change any computer settings without permission.

Treat all the computer equipment nicely so it will last for a long time.

Ask before you print!

Headsets should not be worn unless you are instructed to. -
Always save files to your folder on the network drive (W:), not your computer’s hard drive.

Never type on someone else’s keyboard or click their mouse for them. They won’t remember how to do it unless they do it themselves! -
