<p><span style="color: #000000;">The Music program began the week of September 20th.&nbsp;</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;"><br /></span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC INSTRUCTION</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">The Instrumental Music Program offers music education students in grades 5-6. &nbsp;Classes will meet twice a week for 40 minutes each. &nbsp;Students will participate in their music class for the entire school year.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">As instrumental classes are often large, students selecting the class should be able to work independently and be able to work in an environment that is highly stimulating and filled with sound.</span></p>

<p><span style="color: #000000;">PARENT INFORMATION MEETING</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">There will be one district wide instrumental music meeting for parents of beginning students on Monday, September 20, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at the Educational Services Center, 4999 Casa Loma Ave., Yorba Linda (corner of Yorba Linda Blvd. and Casa Loma Ave.) This meeting is recommended, but not required.Instrumental music teachers will greet you and explain the program. &nbsp;Several area retailers will have display tables where you may inspect instrumnets, obtain rental information, etc. &nbsp;These displays will be open at 6:30 p.m. &nbsp;The school district has a limited number of instruments available to those students who are unable to obtain their own due to financial need.</span></p>
